1950-ben érettségi nélkül, tizenhat évesen vették fel a budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolára. Mestere Domanovszky Endre volt. 1956-ban szerzett diplomát. 1960-62 között Londonban folytatta tanulmányait. 1962-ben Izraelben telepedett le. 1986 óta gyakran tartózkodik New Yorkban is. Festményei, akvarelljei a francia impresszionisták hatását mutatják. Kiváló rajztudása elsősorban portréiban és pasztelljeiben jut érvényre. Számos ismert személyiség (Golda Meir, Anvar Sadat...) portréját készítette el. Pasztelljeivel több jelentős nemzetközi díjat nyert.
